Man's Best Friend...

Hey guys!!!

I was just thinking about all the wondeful dogs I've had...

And I realised that dogs have played a very big part in my life!!!

I've had at least a dog since I can remember...

The first one being Snow...

She was a really cute one as she was really, really fat...

So fat that her tummy literally dragged on the ground every time she moved...

She was so fat that daddy had to put covers on the drain just so she could cross the drain...

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Anyway, that was a very long time ago and she died of some disease I can't remember (I was too young to know anything much then)...

Here are some photos that I found of the dogs I've had or I still have at home =]

Rexanne, the best guard dog ever

Rexanne looks tough and fierce (what else do you expect of a Rottweiler?) but is a big softie underneath...

She's huge!!!

I remember one time when I was a still very small, and she sort of jumped up on me...

Well, I totally fell backwards!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahaha...

Unfortunately, her best qualities as a guard dog was what brought her death...

Our poor Rexanne was poisoned one night...

Well, at that time, there were a lot of materials behind my house as they were building a new housing area at that time (now it's called Taman Tanjung Indah)...

Well, some people who wanted to steal things there got scared and probably irritated at Rexanne who kept barking at them...

So they threw a poisoned egg into our house...

Rexanne ate it and that was how she died...

Max, the poodle

Max was around together with Rexanne...

It always amazed me that Rexanne, such a big dog, and Max, such a small one, never fought...

They were friends, although we never put them in the same cage...

Max was always the playful one of the two...

And many people have told me that he looked like a gray sheep, a cute one though...

mwahahahahahahahahahaha...

He always had a terrible skin disease, even from before he got rescued by my super uncle, the vet...

We euthanised him not long ago because he was already very old and his body wasn't that good anymore...

Next up, Amber and Hazel, the two sisters:

The one on the left is Hazel and the one on the right is Amber

Amber and Hazel...

These two were brought home from my great-grandfather's place in Kluang...

These two sisters are the only two that managed to give birth to a litter of puppies each...

Amber first, then Hazel...

Amber also left first, then only Hazel...

Well, Amber's story is really quite sad (not to mention maddening!!!)...

We gave her away even though I really, really, really had a very bad feeling about it on that day...

The person didn't even dare to touch Amber the day she took her, and daddy and mummy were at the office...

I saw it and called mummy to tell her about it...

Mummy told me that we had too many dogs at that time (puppies all over, dogs all over!!! I loved it, though >.<) and that she'd be happier being the centre of attraction over at the new owners' place...

I really, really, really didn't want to let the people have Amber but I had to admit that mummy had a point...

Why, I even made the person promise that she would take care of Amber properly!!!

A few days later, my family really missed her so we went to see her at her new place to see her and let her see a few familiar faces, also to see whether she was doing ok...

When we got to the place, she wasn't there so we called the uncle...

THEY LEFT AMBER IN A NEW HOUSE WITH ABSOLUTELY NOBODY!!!!!!!!!

The house was totally empty and it was a corner house, right beside a jungle or whatever it was!!!

I mean, hey!!! She just got out from her home for so many years, and you take her out, put her in a new place, and just leave her there... ALONE!!!

Anyway, the couple said that she was supposed to be there...

Well, she WASN'T!!!

We went around the whole place looking for her...

We did it for days, going round a round the area, but still couldn't find her...

Until now, I still don't know if she survived...

Anyway, we shall move on to the next sister...

Hazel also had her own puppies...

She actually just died a few days ago...

She wasn't feeling well, and on the night before she died, she kept hiding in the bushes and stuff...

We were all surrounding her and giving her milk and honey and treats and stuff...

She was so weak that she couldn't even move properly...

But as we were standing a few steps away from her, she started moving towards us and sort of collapsed because she didn't have enough strength...

It was like she knew she was going to die and wanted us to spend more time with her before she died...

Anyway, the next day, I came home from school only to find out that she had died and was already buried...

We had two sisters above, and now we have three siblings!!!

Niko with Panda, Polar and Grizzly

Panda is the female while the other two are her brothers...

Among the three of them, Grizzly was the first one I fell in love with...

Why? Maybe a little because he was the one that was always bullied, the weakest one...

Anyway, he was also the first one among the three to die...

The other two (Polar and Panda) are still alive...

Polar has gone to join another family though, and is well fed and well looked after, I am pleased to say...

We went to see him at his new home one day and at that time, he still remembered us =]

Panda, on the other hand, can be found running around the compound of my house all day, everyday...

Taffy is the queen at home...

She really is!!! (It's scary, as she's a Shih Tzu and is supposed to be a play dog)

I found out that every time she is let out, all the other dogs will stay away from her...

If I'm playing with her, no other dogs would come near me...

Even the dog that I thought was the most fearless among the dogs hides at the corner near her "house" when Taffy is running around...

After this long post, I only one to say that dogs are really cool...

Other animals are, too!!!

However, if you're not gonna take care of your pets properly, don't even bother getting one...

Having said that, I'm gonna spend more time with the dogs I have (now 4 gorgeous ones) and love and cherish them...

So.......

I've been coughing these few days and a few, no, make that many people have exclaimed, "H1N1!!!" when they heard me cough...

So, anyway, yesterday in school after recess, I was in class when I coughed a few times and as expected, someone went, "Oh, Amanda!!! H1N1!!!"

So the conversation went like this:
Me: H1N1? No lah, I H2N2 already!
Classmate: hahaha, wah, like that one ar? H2N2 ar?
Me: Ya lah, if more serious then become H3N3 some more leh! So modern right?
Classmate: H3N3 ar? Cannot!
Me: Huh? Why cannot?
Classmate: H2N2 and H3N3 BOTH CAN SIMPLIFY!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Yes, I know, KENA BOMBED!!! Then because of the bomb, SWEAT!!!

hahahahaha...

So in the end, we came to the conclusion that mine is not H1N1, not H2N2, not H3N3, but H3N4...

Yup, H3N4, cannot simplify >.<

Oh, anyway, my family (including my maternal grandmother, mama; and excluding my poor oldest brother, koko) is going on a trip to Chiang Mai...

We'll be going tomorrow, so I'll just have to ponteng one day of school and also open day...

Yup, as some of you guys might know, my birthday was just over a few minutes ago...

My first proper "Birthday Makan" was on Wednesday (10th June) night in Victoria Station in KL with the family =]

It was awesome!!!

My first time eating there, too!!!

Wasn't all that cheap, but the food was good, right down to the bun and even the sweetcorn!!!

Anlynn went home first, however...

She said she had to get something...

At tuition, the moment I opened the door, I saw Anlynn, who had already changed into clean clothes and she was holding a big yellow Parkson plastic bag, and she started to shout my name out loud, "AMANDAAAA!!!"... And then she held up the plastic bag and said, no, shouted, "Happy birthday!!!"...
Mr. Ng was there, other students were there, and my mouth just dropped open...

Teacher: Amanda, you didn't tell me today is your birthday?!?!? Me: Huh? Anlynn and I (at the same time, so ngam!): Oh, no lah, tomorrow =)

We had to rush home right after the ceremony though, so that I could make it back in time for my BM tuition...

After my BM tuition, daddy, mummy, niko (yup, he's back for a few days) and I went to get a cake...

At first I thought it was Koko Sern Wang's car, but after a little while, I decided that it was probably daddy's friends sending durians over as kakak was standing in front of a lot of durians (well, the Kancil was parked behind mummy's car so I couldn't see the car plate)...

Suddenly niko pula asked me to check out his "Malcolmised version" of a song...

So we sat down at the piano...

While we were playing with the instruments (Me on piano, niko on drums)...

"Happy birthday to you,

happy birthday to Amanda,
happy birthday to you!"

Huh?!?!?!?!? Koko Sern Wang's voice?!?!?!?!?

So I walked out to see and lo and behold...

Standing there was a group of my dear friends with a cake...

By then I was already grinning from ear to ear, waving like a mad woman, probably with some weird uncontrollable facial expression...

They managed to surprise me!!!

And then...

Eh, one of them looked vaguely familiar...

But I couldn't really see as it was dark outside...

Me: Is that Teow Kee? (pointing at the guy)
The guy: Yes, it is (waving)

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

For the benefit of those who do not know, Teow Kee used to be my group leader in YF and went to study in America (he's from niko's batch)...

Anyway, after I blew the candles out, they made me take a candle out from the cake... With my mouth!!!

After I berjaya, they pula asked me to bite a strawberry out of the cake!!!

Oh, the suffering I go through =P

After passing me the presents and cards and all in a supposedly "touching" way (another one of Koko Sern Wang's mad ideas), we went into the house...

And then, the night was filled with fun!!! and of course, FOOD!!!

YF Camp 09!!!

Hey guys!!!

Oh, I've been wanting to blog about our YF camp, only that I don't have the pictures in this computer...

So.........

Never mind lah, I'll post some pictures here soon =]

Anyway, the camp wasn't bad at all...

It was actually quite quite quite fun...

It was held in Peacehaven, Genting from the 30th of May till the 1st of June...

I had the honour of being the group leader for group love...

My group was awesome...

The awesome-est group during the camp (my group lah, who else?!?!?) consisted of:

Everyone was really great during the camp...

We were actually a bit quiet at the beginning of the camp (my standard lah, don't know how the others felt)...

But anyway, by the middle of the first day, our group was, what's the phrase, filled with LOVE!!! (and noise =P)

Oh, I know I forgot to mention this on the last day of camp, but thank you, all my group members, I really enjoyed being in the same group as all of you...

Special thanks to Jie2 Ee Hsin for encouraging us for the start till the end of the camp, especially during the drama competition on formal night...

Oh, my group won that competition, by the way...

Our topics were Scooby Doo, Rev. William Wan, in a concert and contentment...

Everybody in our group came up with really fun ideas and we just sort of "cakulung" all the ideas together and voila!!! Magic ;-)

And in case you guys don't know, Rev. William Wan was our camp speaker...

He was really interesting and we all got to hear a little "chim-ology" from him and of course, a little from Joshua as well...

Oh, well, what to do?!?!?!?

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Rev. Wan was very cute also...

His stories were really very funny =D

Ok, BACK TO MY AWESOME GROUP!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

I think each of us sort of had an identity in the group...

That's just what I think lah...

And I think the identities were something like this:

Jie Yi - the quiet one, yet I find her really cute.
Emily - the shy and laughing one, yet I find her to be quite "chim" (deep) at times.
Kimberly - the active Cantonese-speaking one, yet I think she can be kind of shy at times but really fun to be with.
Ting Sun - the new girl, yet is always up and about, being disturbed by Kit Siew and giving a mean revenge, paiseh to do embarassing stuff.
Li Yuan - the matured one of us, yet did a really cute Scooby Doo for the drama.
Wan Ni - the one that paling "diam-diam ubi berisi" among us, yet always helping by gathering everyone for meetings or practices, is always so nice to everyone, and was an awesome narrator for the drama.
Deric - the totally and utterly cute one, yet... erm... SOOOOO ADORABLE!!! mwahahaha
Jerrel - the one with the wide range of interesting (weird?) hairstyles and is always cool, yet came up with lots of games to torture us during the camp... in a fun way =D
Kit Siew - bullying the new girls (who I had to "protect" at times), yet acted as a respected person during the drama, that is, Rev. William Wan. He even sang songs!!! haha

Oh, I wanna tell my group members...

I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
