Dinner with the Hexters! :)

Hey guys!!!

We had a nice time with the Hexter family today :) Mummy and Daddy met them from church when they were staying here more than 20 years ago, and have been in touch until now! Dad, Mum, Niko and I met them the last time we came to visit London, but koko just met them today. Or rather, koko met them for the first time that he can remember, today :S He was too young before! Awwwww tiny little koko xD

Group photo :)
Dinner was really good! And then after dinner, we all sat around and sang songs, and that was fun :D Everyone has such good voices! It was really nice to hear everyone singing in harmony. So nice!!! =DDD
The adults :)
The "Kids" x)
All in all, I think it was my favourite night and favourite dinner since coming! Or at least it is so far xD

Tomorrow (well, today, since it's past midnight!), we leave for France! We'll be there until Thursday. And and anddddd
WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!
Yayyyyyyy!!!!!!! I'm really excited about that!!! :D :D :DDDD You're never too old for Disneyland!

London Weather!

Hey guys!!!

So we spent another day in London today, and once again, we got to experience the awesome London weather... again :S

Anyway, we started the day by visiting the Discover Greenwich Visitor Centre. It was raining when we went in, and when we left the place, the rain had just stopped.
Daddy and Niko kononnya got some fancy pangkat :P
And I saw a gauntlet and picked it up, which, from what I learnt from watching Merlin, meant that I accepted the challenge of the person who threw the gauntlet down x)
A very nice gauntlet :)
But thennnn, I realised that I had no idea what the challenge was, so I got really scared and ran out of the place. I thought the person who wanted to threw the gauntlet down was chasing after me. And thus, the expression:
Noooooo!!!
Hahahaha okay that may not be what happened. I actually don't have any idea what I was doing when that picture was taken xD

The sky looked like it was clearing up and getting brighter again as we left the centre.
Looks nice and peaceful, doesn't it?
And then, suddenly, out of nowhere, the skies started getting dark again. Oh great!
I honestly have no idea what the buildings are, but they look nice!
And then in a matter of seconds, there it was! Rain..... again!
What's London without a bit of rain, anyway?
So we walked in the rain, and then just as suddenly, the rain stopped, the the skies were nice and bright. Even the sun peeked out and shined down a little :) But of course, that had to be after the rain had already made my umbrella a satellite dish =.=
Uh huh. That's the new type of umbrella, used to collect water in the rain =.=
We also did a bit of climbing, a teensy-weensy bit of exercise, to get to a place which gave us this view:
Tadaa! Somewhere in the picture is a place where part of the London 2012 Games will be held :)
As we were doing all the climbing, the sun decided to shine down at us, just so we were warm enough to sweat a little. Justttt had to let us sweat a little bit. I do think the sweat was worth it, though, because of the views from up there and because of the things we saw up there :)
Once upon a time, in a faraway castle......
Ooh! And we're getting better at reading the London weather. A bit. Nah, not really. Well, the weather in London has never really been predictable, has it?
Dark clouds coming to sweep the brightness away!
I am weirdly proud to say, though, that we managed to get to the Underground station before it started raining too heavily xD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

The moreeee we get together the happier we'll beee :D

The complete 5 Chongs :)
So I've been having a really, really nice holiday so far :D It really is nice having all 5 of us together again! =) Oh, before I forget, I just wanted to give a friendly advice to anybody who might visit London in the future (just because I'm such a nice person xP) If you're going to London, remember to bring plastic bags!!!

Why? Because: 1. Some places don't give plastic bags, and more importantly; 2. You never know when it'll start raining! xD
Plastic Bags! A must-bring!
Oh! And we were looking for food in a Tesco Express when we came across this:
Malaysian Laska flavour. Serious ar?
I was so excited about finding a Malaysian flavour in London, but then I tried the sandwich. Note to self: don't EVER buy that flavour sandwiches ever ever ever again. It is disgusting :S

We did get a dose of Asian food, though, when we went to Wong Kei! Mummy and Daddy used to go there all the time when they stayed here in London, more than 20 years ago! Since we were in a bit of a hurry that evening, and since mum and dad used to eat there so often last time, we decided to go eat there. We went all the way to London only to eat Chinese food x) Oh well!
Wong Kei! Still around from when Daddy and Mummy used to stay here!
I have to say, though, that the serving portions were much much bigger than I expected!
The "fan tong" cannot go without rice!
If you're wondering why we were in a bit of a hurry the evening we ate at Wong Kei, it's because..... we had already bought tickets to watch Les Miserables! Ahhhhhhh FINALLY! And finally I know what that musical is all about! :D
Ahhh now I FINALLY see!
We bought some lower-end tickets, and our seats were (to put it nicely,) nearer to the back of the theatre than the front xD It was a bit funny, though, because in some parts of the show where the top part of the stage or the screen on the stage was used, we couldn't see the top part. So the 5 of us and the other people sitting at the same row as us, or behind us, or even to some rows in front of us, had to bend down to try to see what was shown. Let me just say, though, that the bending down didn't help =.=
You can't see the whole screen, but you can see many other people's whole heads =.=
And then I just had to have the two people in the picture above, sitting in front of me. They were these 2 tall French (I think) people, and they kept moving throughout the play, and they kept talking to each other (or rather, the guy kept talking to the girl). So I had to move my head left when the moved guy moved nearer to the girl, and I have to move my head right when the girl moved to the left =.= All in all, though, I really enjoyed the play! The acting was good, the music was good, the voices were good, the props were VERY IMPRESSIVE, and it was just a really cool experience! :)

Ooh we also plotted to steal the Crown Jewel from the Tower of London xD hahaha just kidding! We went to look at the Tower of London from afar, as well as snap a few pictures. It's prettyyyyy!!! :D
Tower of London in the background :)
Then, of course, no trip to London is complete without seeing the Tower Bridge! And no, it isn't the London Bridge! That fell down when I was still in kindergarten! :P hahahaha justtttt kiddinggggg!!! Many people do mistake the Tower Bridge for London Bridge, though! The real London Bridge is really a lot less glamourous. Oh, it's still there, though! It hasn't quite fallen down xP
Tower Bridge isn't falling down!
Then, today, we went to visit the London National Museum touch the replica of the Rosetta Stone :D And then and then and thennnn, we went to Madame Tussauds!!!
OooooooOOOOooOoOoOoooOO??? Oooooohh!!!
We saw many familiar faces, and some less familiar faces as well.
One of our many family friends we met up with - George Clooney :P
I was quite disgusted, though, when I found out that there was a Justin Bieber there, but no Michael Buble! WHAT IS THISSSSSS????????? What is wrong with the worlddddddd??????? Niko and I sent in a suggestion to get him put in, and hopefully many other people have done the same. Siapa tau? Maybe if I get to go to Madame Tussauds again, I can have a picture with Michael Bubble! Oops, I meant Bublé xD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

We're *ruff ruff* Barking! :)

Hey guys!!!

So here I am, blogging from a nice little place in Barking, London :) I really like Barking! Maybe it's because I grew up around dogs? Lol okay not funny. Sorry :P

Anyway, dad, mum, koko and I flew Royal Brunei. It was nice, and I realised that non-Air-Asia flights serve a lot of food! hahaha

Cotton candy cloudssssss!!! :D

I was awake at one point of time in the very, very long flight to see the sunrise!

Sunrise!!!

We arrived in Heathrow later than scheduled, and when we came out after collecting our baggage, there he was! Niko was standing there, right in the middle of the crowd, holding a piece of paper that said "CHONG FAMILY". Awwwww! Then, of course, there were hugs all over :)

The complete Chong Family, FINALLY together again! :D

The guys in the Tube

Mummy and I

Oh ya! And I have to introduce you to my first ever sock doll! My new pet monkey from Niko x)
Monkayyyy!!! xD

Okay, so what have we been doing here in London so far? I'd pretty much sum everything up to eating and eating and eating. Oh, and falling asleep. And eating. Did I mention eating? I think you get my drift ;P

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Typical Malaysian! x)

Hey guys!

So all our bags are packed, and now all that's left for us is to sleep, wake up (early :S), get ourselves to the airport, and off we go! I'm getting more and more excited! We're going to get to see Niko soon! :)

Ooh! I found out that I'm an awesome packer! I can stuff more things than others can into the bags! It's true! As I was packing, though, I kept thinking how typically Malaysian we are xD

I was packing and packing and stuffing and stuffing the clothes and things into the bags, and I realised, HEY! There are more Maggi mee in here than anything else! Then I kept thinking back to when my friends or relatives have gone overseas in the past, and I realised that every single time, without fail, Malaysians who go overseas MUST bring Maggi mee xDDD

mwahahahahahahahahahaha...

The Grandmothers' Birthdays :)

Hey guys!

So, just a quick update: I've finished my foundation (MERDEKAAAA!!!) and so I have holidays until I have to start med school in July (I think) =D Koko and I are both at home, both merdeka, both on holidays, and Niko just finished his last exam paper today, so he also merdeka! xD

We're all going for a holiday together, as a whole family! It has been soooo long since we all went on holiday together, all 5 of us!!! Daddy, Mummy, Koko and I will fly together from KL, and Niko will fly from Canada, and we are scheduled to arrive at the same time, so we'll meet him there!!! I'm excited!!! Yay!!!! :D :D :DDDD

Anywayyyyy, not too long ago, dad, mum, koko and myself went up to Penang to celebrate popo Alice's birthday. Popo Alice is actually my God-grandma (God-grandma? That sounds right! xD). She's really cute and funny as well!!! hahaha

It was fun in Penang :) We had lots of fun playing gin rummy with popo Alice (and all the modern-modern people had fun playing "Draw Something" with each other on their iPands while sitting around 5 steps from one another =.=) hahahaha

The whole jin gang :) Popo Alice so cute in her blue shirt, sitting in front :D

And then today was Ah Chiah's (my paternal grandma's) birthday, so we went to have dinner with her. The first restaurant we went to, however, was really-really-really-really-really-seriously-not-kiddingly-betul-betul NOISY LIKE MAD! The volume was seriously blowing our heads off!

And then the smart people at the restaurant served half our dishes, then stopped to serve the other half. So before the 2ns half came, we all got fed up and asked if they had prepared the rest of our food! Since they hadn't, we paid and left............ and then we walked over to another restaurant for 2nd rounds xDDDDD (And you wonder where we get our sizes from?)

So there at the 2nd restaurant, we ordered food as though we hadn't had almost a whole meal right before that! We managed to finish all the food ordered, eat Ah Chiah's birthday cake, and have cendol as well. (Anybody still wondering where we get our sizes from?)

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
