Dinner and FOOD!!!

Just came back not long ago from a celebration dinner at Imperial Restaurant, BP...

Sir Wu belanja...

Because Jayn got straight As in her PMR (woots!!! Congrats!!!)...

And Jim also got straight As in his exam...

Skill right?!?!?!?!?!?

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Anyway, we had three tables...

And of course, all the "kids" sat together...

Niko, Jim, Jayn, me, Sharee, Jason, Sean Jayn's cousin, aunty, and another cousin sat at one table...

In that order...

It was fun...

Especially since we hadn't done that in awhile...

And we just sat there and chatted, and kacau-ed each other...

And I've got to admit...

Sharee Ch'ng kena-ed the worst...

Kena ejek-ed the most and everything...

I've been doing homework, homework and more homework yesterday and today...

Well, from today until the 8th of January next year, my niko and I will have to do the house work as well...

Mum: Wake up!!! We have to fetch kakak (our maid) to the airport!!!
Me: Har? Why? (mouth opened just big enough to let the words come out)
Mum: You forgot already ar? Kakak going home today!!!
Me: What time is it now? (fell back asleep)
Mum: (somethings I didn't hear- I was sleeping lah!!!) AMANDA!!! Wake up lah!!! You don't want to fetch kakak to the airport meh?
Me: I wanna sleep...
Mum: Wait, cannot lah!!! Nobody at home!!!
Me: Never mind lah...

Of course, after living for more than 14 years with my mummy, I knew better than to continue sleeping...

I was doing my homework, minding my own business...

My family refers to those shops that sell blangded instead of branded goods at a really, really low price as "two-dollar-shops"...

Those shops are where we get Sany (Sony) electronic gadgets...

And even Gavio instead of Casio Scientific Calculators...

Those shops are really cool...

Even though they actually only sell stuff that are blangded, not branded...

Anyway, later we went to Carrefour to buy a better, still capalang branded pair of Compasses...

But at least it seems more promising...

I've barely touched my holiday homework...

Firstly, the whole intensive-piano-training-in-Singapore thing that started even before the holidays started...
Secondly, I've said it before and I'll say it again. HOMEWORK!!! Not like I've never had holiday homework before this, only not so much!!!
Thirdly, to survive in this house of mine, I have to practice piano every single day for i-don't-know-how-long, but it seems like a long time to me =P
Fourthly, This is a really BIG and serious reason, and that is: NO ASTRO!!! My dad haven't bought a new decoder for Astro, so I don't have nearly enough entertainment!!!

This list can really go on and on...

So I better stop here...

But can you guys understand the pain I'm going through?!?!?

I'm in so much pain that I can hardly eat, hardly sleep...

Hello...

Went for piano lesson today...

With Jayne...

When we got there, Victor, a very bising 10 years old boy doing grade 7 next year (same as Jayne) ws already there...

And Kai Jie was there as well...

He got into the second round of the piano competition...

Imagine...

Out of 82 people, only 18 could go into the second round...

And Kai Jie got in...

See?!?!?!? I told you guys he is skillful!!!

Oh, ya...

His competition in tomorrow!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Anyway, he went to Ms. Sim's apartment to practice since 7.30 (or earlier) in the morning!!!

I wasn't even up yet at that time!!!

Our lesson today was focused on the sharpness of our playing...

There was one point when Ms. Sim and Kai Jie went over to the other room...

So that Kai Jie can practice, and Ms. Sim can help him...

She didn't seem too happy with his work today...

He played better the last time...

Maybe it's because he is feeling nervous?!?!?!?

But then again...

How bad can Kai Jie's playing be?!?!?!?!?

I mean, in the first round of the competition...

He had to play 2 of his pieces (he has 5 altogether)...

One he can choose...

And the other is chosen by the judges or something...

In that piece, which is Duetto (one of my exam pieces)...

He slipped...

And yet, he got into the second round...

Which means that either many people slipped or played badly...

Or he memang geng...

Out of 82 people ar...

I think he got in because he geng...

But Ms. Sim even more geng...

To be able to teach and train a student so well...

As I said, the two skillful people went to the other room...

Faith and I were supposed to have our piano lesson yesterday...

But for some unknown reason...

It was canceled, and only Jayne had her lesson...

But today, Faith and I went for piano lesson...

And Jayne pula don't have lesson...

Surprisingly, Kai Jie wasn't already there when we reached...

So we went into that room...

And in there, we saw Ms. Sim, a girl doing the same grade as us called Denise, and guess who...

The first small boy I met...

I finally found out the name of the boy...

It was raining outside, so they played small kids' badminton in the lobby...

We went for a trial drum lesson...

Because my aunty and uncle bought a drum set...

And also a keyboard...

And they are planning on taking up drum...

So they went for the trial lesson...

And I tagged along...

It was fun...

The three kuchi brats were trying to make me sit in one of those things...

You know, the things that small kids like...

Their parents would put in some coins...

And put the children in the thing...

And it would make some kind of noise...

And move to and fro...

Got bus lah, taxi lah, Barney lah, macam-macam ada...
