2nd McDonalds in Batu Pahat is ALIVE AND KICKING!!!

Hi guys!!!

It is 12.36 a.m. on the 2nd of December, 2008…

Guess where I just came back from…

Ok, I’ll give you a clue…

The golden arches…

mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

It’s McDonalds!!!

Those of you guys that are not from Batu Pahat, I’m guessing you guys are thinking, “Cheh, McDonalds only mah, no big deal what!!!”

But you guys are wrong…

You see, this new McD just opened today, wait, yesterday (passed midnight already XD)…

Before this, there was only one McDonalds in Batu Pahat, and it was in a shopping centre…

It was without a drive-thru…

And it wasn’t opened 24 hours a day…

It was only opened when Summit was opened…

Anyway, my point is…

This new McDonalds branch marks a new beginning for Batu Pahat!!!

It shows non-Batu-Pahat-ians that Batu Pahat is not so kampung after all!!!

It shows that we Batu Pahat-ians are supper-eating people!!!

It shows that Batu Pahat has life!!!

It shows that Batu Pahat is developing!!!

It shows that Batu Pahat is… erm… it is… well, erm… GOOD!!!
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha…

Ok, that was just a tad exaggerated…

But well, I like it that we have another McD here in BP…

So that means if middle of the night tiba-tiba feel hungry, can just call them to deliver…

If want to makan angin a bit then can drive there to makan…

And if you guys are asking me, “Not scared fat ar?”

My answer is…

“Fat already, so fat some more nothing what!!!”

Anyway, just now, or should I say, last night…

Mummy, daddy and I went to Carrefour…

And I saw 2 of my old Boys’ Brigade friends, Tan Szu See and Tan Sze Yee (yup, they are sisters >.<)

Actually, it’s more like Szu See saw me…

Daddy, mummy and I were just leaving Carrefour when Szu See suddenly appeared and hugged me…

I really terkejut…

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

Anyway, after that, Sze Yee appeared and hugged me as well =]

I’ve got to say, I really missed them…

It’s been such a loooooooooong time since I last saw them =(

Since 1st Batu Pahat closed down, I’ve only seen them once...

I really miss BB and everything to do with it…

Oh, I also saw a schoolmate, Lim Susin...

Ok, back to the McD story!!!

I actually agreed to go to Carrefour with mum and dad because I wanted to eat at the new McDonalds…

Nearing Carrefour, in the car, I managed to take a photo of the brightly-lit, brand new, super busy McDonalds:


Coming out from Carrefour, we already wanted to go to the new McD to check it out…

And so, we crossed one road and in doing so, we were standing right in front of the new McD…

In there, we saw:

Ahhh, need to line up so long just to order ar?!?!?!?

There were so many people seated, ordering, coming in…

So we decided to abandon the place for the time being and come back later that night…

What can I say? I wanted to be able to tell people that I ate at the new McD in BP on the day it opened…

Anyway, before we left, I took a was taking more pictures of the golden arches with the drive-thru and 24-hours sign:

McDonalds!!!

Then, daddy volunteered to help me take a picture with it…

At first I was reluctant, but then daddy took the camera from me…

So I stood there and SMILED!!!

Daddy was trying to frame the picture nicely…

And in doing so, he took up quite some time, which I spent standing there awkwardly standin there and smiling at the camera that daddy was holding…

A few people that were walking behind daddy were laughing at us…

At that moment, I felt so paiseh, and I asked daddy to please hurry up…

At that moment, I was also aware that mummy quickly and conveniently fled to the other side of the road, as if to say that she had nothing to do with us =P…

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

I was also aware that there were a lot of cars on the road right beside me…

Waiting at the traffic light…

Those people in the cars were all staring and laughing at daddy and I…

Like they were calling us celaka tourists…

SO PAISEH!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I guess there aren’t a lot of Batu Pahat-ians who take photos everywhere for blogging purposes…

Alright, alright…

So we are a bit kampung and not that modern, so what?!?!?!? :P

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

Anyway, we left and daddy promised to bring me there even if it was late or even in the middle of the night…

Yay!!! You rock, dad!!! And mummy too!!! <3

At 11 something, daddy, mummy and I went to try the new 24-hour McD…

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

I was kind of not surprised to see that it was still packed with people…

This time, though, we lined up anyway to order our food…

Daddy and I did, anyway, while mummy went to look for seats for us…

At exactly 11.55 p.m. on the 1st of December 2008, I, ordered my food for the very first time in the second McDonalds in Batu Pahat, on its opening day…

Even while we were eating, I noticed that many people were still moving in and out of McD…

At around midnight, I asked mummy something and it went something like this:

Me: Why people want to come at 12-something ar? So weird one… Mummy: Maybe because this place is a 24-hour joint, so people think that they have to come at midnight mah… Me: But come at midnight then it is not on the first day already ar… Mummy: Yah hor, dunno leh… Me: We all lagi geng, come here on the first day, still here at midnight and stay here until the second day…
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…

So, in a way, daddy, mummy and I were there both on the first and second day the 2nd McD in BP was open…

Wow, am I glad I’m not talking about a person…

It would seem that I was stalking that person!!!
