Motorcycles!!!
Hey guys!!!
Yup, I'm back from Vietnam...
Actually, I did come back on the 20th, as I said in the earlier post...
I was right!!!
mwahahahahahahahahahaha...
Vietnam was OK...
Somebody told mummy that Ho Chi Minh city (where we went) is like KL...
But after going there, I have to say...
It's a LOT different...
Firstly, there is the whole motorcycle thing...
I only have one word to describe it, and that is:
SCARY!!!!!!!!!!
wakakakakakakakakaka...
Seriously, you can't cross feeling safe...
I mean, the motorbikes are EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!
And in Malaysia we always say that Kancils and motorbikes are the kings of the roads?
Use motorbikes and Kancils sure don't need to worry about traffic jams, right?!?!?!?
Not there!!!
The motorbikes FORM UP THE TRAFFIC JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So scary!!!
mwahahahahahahahahaha...
Mummy says that the motorcycles are like ants...
wakakakakakakakakakaka...
And not only that...
Other than having too much (yes, MUCH, not MANY) motorcycles...
They all, as daddy puts it, "bo zheng hu"...
It means "no government" in Hokkien...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
For instance, there is a crossroad...
With motorcycles coming from 4 different directions...
And right in the middle of the crossroad, will be motorcycles that are stuck there, elak-ing other motorcycles, stopping, blowing their horns at nothing and everything, turning left right in front of a no-left-turn sign, U-turning, and every other thing you can think of...
Which means...
It's CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
And I haven't talked about crossing the roads there yet!!!
It's even scarier...
Especially if you are crossing the road with one very lousy Vietnamese tour guide, and 3 old ladies (2 of them are my grannies =P)...
There will be motorcyclists honking at you, some trying to brake and NOT knock you down after going quite fast and a whole bunch, whole row of motorbikes moving fast towards you just to name a few...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Sorry, but the photos that I took are still in mummy's camera...
But I found a photo online just to let you guys see how it's like...
wakakakakakakakakaka...
And even this is OK only...
I have a few shots of more of them in mummy's camera...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
You guys may notice that some of them wear masks...
Well, to tell you the truth, it is one of the first things I noticed about the motorcyclists...
And until now, I don't know for sure why they wear those masks...
Daddy suggested that maybe it was because of the dust?!?!?!?
Well, I'm not sure...
Any ideas, anyone?!?!?!?!?
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Buh-bye, people!!!

Off to Vietnam!!!
Hey guys!!!
I just finished packing a whole roller bag full of clothes...
mwahahahahahahahahahaha...
I'll be going to Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) with mummy, daddy and both my grandmothers...
As I said to mummy...
Daddy, mummy and I are like the mains...
And we mains are bringing our mothers...
And my mother just happen to be a main herself...
wakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
Actually, my paternal grandmother (my ah chiah) is already here in Batu Pahat...
She's watching TV downstairs =]
Mummy, daddy, ah chiah and I are supposed to be at Pelican Hotel at 12.30 a.m...
From there we will take a bus or something to don't-know-where to don't-know-where to don't-know-how-many-wheres...
I'll just follow whatever my parents say and where ever they go...
mwahahahahahahahahahaha...
Where does that leave my maternal grandmother (my mama), I hear you say?
Well, the bus or something will bring us to JB at 3 a.m...
And there, we will meet up with my mama and some other people, I'm guessing...
Anyway, we will then go to Singapore...
We are estimated to reach the airport at about 5 a.m...
And there, we will check in and wait and wait and wait...
Until 7.30 a.m...
And that is when we board the plane...
Well, at least that's what I've been told...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
I'll be back on the 20th...
You know what?
I think this is when my training to become "Ms. Owl" pays off =P
Wait, actually, not really...
I'd probably be sleeping from here to there to everywhere...
wakakakakakakakakakakaka...
Oh, ya...
To all the SPM candidates, again...
Jia you!!!
At least after these, you guys will be free!!!
Ok, I'm off!!!

Last day in school as a form 3 student!!!
Hi guys!!!
Ms. Owl went to school today =.=
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Anyway, for our school, today was the last day of school for this year for the form 3 students (that's me!!!)...
And so, we had a "Majilis Penutupan Program Lepas PMR 2008"...
Held in the dewan makan asrama in our school...
All the form 3 students that were present had to just sit there for the whole day, even though the majlis actually started at around 11.30...
Biasalah, what to do?!?!?!?!?
wakakakakakakakakakakaka...
Before the majlis penutupan started, we were asked to sit with our classmates...
And so we did...
I was the only Chinese at our table because Michelle and I were the only two Chinese students in our class that was present, and Michelle pula was nowhere in sight...
I fitted in quite well also lah, seeing that I was wearing my baju kurung today...
mwahahahahahahahahahaha...
Oh, ya...
I also went over to the 3 Zuhrah table and managed to take a few pictures before anything really happened:
One more thing...
I saw this on a door also...
It was on a door, in the dewan makan asrama, where the pupils living in the asrama ate, in my school...
And it was:
My friends were asking me to kill it, I pula walk over there and took pictures of it...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
After I went back to my class table pula...
Michelle already appeared pula...
I caught her making a weird pose, like she was thinking of her boyfriend or something?!?!?!?!?!?!?
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
After that, we were given word searches to do...
And after that, a group of people suddenly appeared...
They were to teach the Malays some basic Chinese...
wakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
I managed to get some videos too...
Of some of my schoolmates speaking Chinese...
The way they speak Chinese is just soooo cute!!!
wakakakakakakakakaka...
I actually took a LOT of videos, but very huge files, and I'm lazy to make it smaller, so I'll just put the smaller ones...
My classmate Faezatul pronouncing the "O"s:
My conversation with Faezatul (from paper):
I actually said one wrong word somewhere in there...
mwahahahahahahahahaha...
Maybe got more than one lah, but don't care loh...
What to do?
My Chinese also not so good mah...
wakakakakakakakakakakaka...
Anyway, some of the other photos I took:
It was going to take up too much space, so I put the pictures in a slide show instead =]
On the way back home from school, I took this picture:
Well, personally, I think it looks kinda scary...
Like a sickly witch trying to scare a small girl or something...
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Maybe my imagination too geng already lah...
wakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
Oh, ya...
Did I mention that the whole family - all 5 of us - is in Malacca?
Well, we are...
And just now, we went to Sir Kim Chew's (from 1st Melaka BB company) shop...
It's called Calanthe Art Cafe...
Situated on Jalan Hang Kasturi, Melaka...
And there is where they have the 13 states' coffees of Malaysia...
They food and drinks there are really good...
Sorry, it was too good until I didn't even get to take pictures...
wakakakakakakakakaka...
Niko ordered a drink called "Ms. L"...
It's a special drink that you are supposed to drink from the bottom to the top every single sip using the straw...
Oh, and the also sell lots of handmade jewelry there...
Sir Kim Chew also brought us to his other shop, also full of handmade jewelry...
Some of the stuff in the shop:
Even lamps were made by Sir Km Chew!!!
And don't they look nice?!?!?!?!?!?
Must have taken a lot of patience and energy...
I don't think I'll have the patience to make even a necklace =P
mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Buh-bye, people!!!

Happy (Belated) Birthday, kar-cheng!!!
Hi guys!!!
I'm sure that by the title of this post, you guys can guess what this post is going to be all about...

Yup, somebody's birthday...
Yes again, my kar-cheng's birthday...
OK, in case you're wondering, by "kar-cheng", I mean "cousin"...
It's kinda a family joke thing...
And in Teo Chew, it can be defined as backside XD
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Anyway, my cousin Grace's birthday was yesterday...
So the family planned to give her a special surprise birthday dinner at Thank God It's Friday's (TGIF) in JB...
On the way there, mummy told me that Ming-Ming (Gracie's sister) told her that the surprise wouldn't be a surprise anymore...
Apparently Ah Yee Lee Hua revealed the secrets slowly, one by one...
By accident too...
So cute :P
wakakakakakakakakakaka...
Anyway, even though it wasn't a surprise for Gracie anymore, I guess the celebration was still an OK one...
Everyone had fun...
And we had good food too!!!
Sorry, wasn't really in time to take pictures...
What to do, food evaporates really quickly when we are around =P
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
However, daddy and I managed to snap a few pictures of people rather than food, at least they don't suddenly hilang:
Ming-Ming and her boyfriend Jonathan (nicknamed "zhu nao tang", which means pig brain soup in Chinese =P)
Jayne and Daddy doing the I'm-too-cool-for-you post (succeeding or not is a completely different story)
At this one point, my cousins Faith and Jayne spotted a disco ball attached to the ceiling...
And they started jumping up and down, trying to touch it...
Faith finally touched it a little bit...
And as for Jayne, well, let's just say that it'll take a lot more time before she can even let the wind from her movement travel to the disco ball =]
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Anyway, Jonathan suddenly just walked over, stool near (just near, not even under) the disco ball...
Stretched out his hand a little, and touched the TOP of the disco ball...
You can imagine lah, how my two kar-chengs there were...
They started chasing Jonathan around, claiming that he bullied them...
wakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
And too bad for Jonathan, he cannot tahan when kena tickled, and that is the tactic my cousins like to use...
So you can see who was bullying who...
I was smart enough to just sit down and not join in (believe me, it comes from experience)...
Anyway, Jonathan and my cousins were kacau-ing each other...
Actually, it was more like my cousins disturbing Jonathan and Jon pula trying to defend himself from the two crazy long haired small girls...
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
And then...
MING-MING TO THE RESCUE!!!
for Jon, anyway...
Ming-Ming started helping Jon and being really funny, saying that if they kacau him some more, he may vomit all over them, and since he was so tall and they were not that tall, he could even aim and vomit all over their heads...
I know it sounds disgusting like that, but it was really funny...
wakakakakakakakakakakakaka...
After that, the TGIF crew came out with the birthday cakes (a whole cake for everyone one one special slice of cheesecake for the birthday girl)...
The placed it in front of Gracie...
And before anything, she had to sing a song...
Gracie sang "Umbrella" with her usual, sweet voice...
After that, she even had to give a speech...
mwahahahahahahahahaha...
Finally, after the TGIF crew sang a birthday song with raps or whatever and stuff, Gracie blew out the candles and cut the cake...

Actually, now only I come to my main point for this post, that is:
HAPPY belated BIRHTDAY, GRACIE!!!!!!!
May the Lord continue to bless you and may you grow in Him =]
mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Buh-bye, people!!!
PS: There have to be a "belated" because by the time we reached home from JB, it was already this morning...
