I'll start with the makan trip :) I don't really know exactly where we were most of the time, so if you are interested in finding out the places I went to, let me know, and I can ask someone less blur @.@ hahaha! We left BP on the 15th of December at night, to reach Penang early in the morning on the 16th. When I say early, I mean early! We had breakfast before the sun woke up! Oh, and the bus was so cold my first few pictures were blur as the lens kept fogging up =.=
We ate at... erm... Sorry, I really don't know, I was too blur to know what was going on xD All I know is that from the bus, we just walked and walked pass a wet market, we had to cross a small bridge and walk though more pasar malam stalls before reaching the place :D
After finishing our very early breakfast, we walked back towards the bus. That was around 6 or 6-something in the morning, way way way too early to be awake, especially during the holidays!

Anyway, we were told that we could only check in at the hotel at 4.30 in the evening, so we had to just trying to entertain ourselves until then! We walked up to Kek Lok Si Temple, more to walk off our heavy breakfast than anything else xD

Oh, and by Small Boy I mean Benjamin, who used to join BB. He's really cute, and he took the job of kacau-ing Jayn and I throughout the trip xD Halfway through the trip he said he wasn't a small boy anymore. I thought about it, and since he wasn't a big boy (the big boys are the adults =.=), I gave him the name Medium Boy :D
After Jayn and I started calling him "Medium Boy" for some time, he told us really seriously that we should change the name back to "Small Boy". Hahahaha! So cute lah, small boy xD
Anyway, after leaving Kek Lok Si Temple (more like after we used the toilet there), we went to the Penang Botanical Garden. There was a pesta bunga or something... I didn't think it was particularly interesting or anything, but after coming out from the place, we saw this tree:
It's trunk has thorns! Or whatever those are called =.=
Oh, and then after that, we went to eat... Again xD
Go to Penang, must eat... Penang Laksa!!! =)

Since the trip was a makan trip anyway, we really did spend the rest of the day mainly eating and eating and eating xD
We went to another shop that was supposed to have the best laksa :) Well, personally, I thought it was better than all the other laksas I tried in Penang :D

The hotel we stayed in when we were in Penang, I have to say, is really strategically placed! All we had to do was walk out of the hotel and we get a whole row of FOOD!!!!! So that's where we had our dinner =D

Oh, we sat in...
We sat down there and ordered our drinks from them and our food from all the stalls around. After eating, we ordered some desserts
The shop owner wanted to charge us an extra 50 cents for each of those bowls of dessert! We were all, "WHATTTTT?!?!?!?!? You serious ah?!?!?"
Anyway, after dinner, popo Alice, Uncle Michael Tham, Aunty Bee Wah, Aunty Bee Lay and Aunty Bee Ai came to pick dad, mum and myself up from the hotel, just to meet up and chit-chat and stuff :)

We were all exhausted and so I'm guessing everyone slept well that night. I know I did! But then again, I always do xD
