Self-proclaimed holiday? Maybe not :(

Hey guys!!!

Are you guys seated? Because I don't think you guys would believe that whatever I'm going to say actually comes from me XD

School was fun today!!!

wakakakakakakakakakakaka...

You know what?

I actually am serious...

School was fun today, with the exception of the time when somebody accused me of doing something I didn't do... Twice!!!

Whatever it is, it was fun overall =]

Anywayyyyy, my class had Chemistry for the first two periods...

In the Chemistry lab, we were trying to understand whatever the teacher was teaching, and somehow failing, as usual...

When we started getting a bit restless...

Then I wanted to ask Shin Lei something, but that girl was in a hao lian mood :P

So I had to call her a few times before she actually acknowledged that I was calling her name over and over again...

But before that, I found out that her name, if pronounced in English, but with the Chinese intonation of her name, sounded like the beat from a relatively famous song from a undoubtedly popular show (at least it was at one time =.=), and that song is........

Get'cha Head in the Game from High School Musical :D

And we even did the thing that Sharpay and Ryan in High School Musical did in the movie, the thing where they snapped their fingers right before singing "What I've been looking for"...

wakakakakakakakakakaka...

We noticed that it started raining while we were trying to imitate the cacat twisting of wrist and snapping of fingers, but ignored it and continued enjoying ourselves...

By the time our second period was over, we were still singing, and it was still raining...

And because of the awesome rebuilding or whatever our school is calling it, to get to our class, we had to walk though a path that wasn't shaded...

So, as the brave one of the lot, the heroine, (fiyuwit, bangga!!!), I walked in the rain, sacrificing myself and getting wet just to get to our block, into our classroom, over to Shin Lei's seat, grabbed her umbrella from her bag, and walked out of the classroom again...

And then Puan Saadiah, who wanted to cross from our block to when some of my other classmates were waiting, used the umbrella and walked over, passing the umbrella to Shin Lei and the others there...

Then the umbrella was passed around for other people to use...

See how great I am?!?!?!? I helped so many people, I can feel a glow in my heart!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Of course, Shin Lei managed to get back to class quite dry, thanks to the Amazing Amanda!!!

Ok ok, enough self-praise (Although I'm enjoying it) :P

wakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

As a reward for saving Shin Lei from a terrible cold or worse, melting in the rain, she was less hao lian after that... hahaha, just kidding :P

Moving on, back in class, we continued singing, glad that we could have fun and no teachers could come and scold us as our block is practically an island except for the miserable (but at least shaded) path to the Form 5 students' block, and the rain was too heavy for the Form 5 students to hear us anyway =)

The rain continued to pour and we noticed the water level rising, which meant...

NO LESSONS!!!!!!!!!!!

And then my classmates stopped singing and started to crowd around the side doors that led straight out to a grassy area once we went one step down, all oohing and ahhing as if they had never seen rain before...

Me, on the other hand, as the matured and sophisticated one, oohed and aahed louder than everyone else XD

And then someone called me over, "Eh, Amanda, come here and see! There's a snake!"

I went over to take a look and there it was, the slimy snake trying not to drown >.< style="font-style: italic;">think I did see a car with flood water up to half the wheel?

mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...

We went back to our block and I went over to 4 Bumi to socialise with the Earthlings XP

Suddenly, as I was holding a green packet marked "DUIT KELAS" (class fund) that I found in Syakirah's pencil case, we heard zoological noises from the class next door...

I'm not kidding, it really did sound like a troop of monkeys screeching away...

My first thought at that moment was: SNAKE

wakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

Anyway, as people who are always concerned about others (in other words, kay poh), a whole group of us ran over to 4 Marikh, making zoological noises as well, only to see most of the students of 4 Marikh standing, no jumping on their tables and chairs while pointing to something...

At that point, I was pretty much certain that I was right about it being a snake...

But to be 100% certain, I asked somebody what was all the commotion about, and true enough, the snake had gracefully entered, or more accurately, slither into the classroom...

I tried to see where the snake was from where the students were pointing at, which wasn't easy, as they pointed to different places every few seconds because they were jumping up and down...

mwahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Pao, who wasn't situated on a chair or a table and wasn't jumping solved my problem easily...

Well, maybe not that easily, but it was better than the cute little monkeys, I mean, people jumping around...

Me: Where is the snake?
Pao: (pointing to the side of the classroom) There!!!
Me: (look for some time) Where?
Pao: There!!!
Me: Wh... Oh, there!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

It wasn't exactly my fault it took so long for me to see it...

I mean, I checked the floor, the things on the floor, and even the wall, but I didn't expect to see that thing in the desk!!!

Of course, I soon found out I wasn't the only slow one...

Joanna and Anlynn, who were both beside me, were still trying to find the thing, asking "Where, where, WHERE?!?!?!?"

Knowing how they felt, I immediately pointed to the desk and said, "there!"

Wait, that didn't help much, did it?

Oh, and then I said, "In the desk"

Yup, that's it :P

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

One more thing, did I mention that I was still holding on to 4 Bumi's class fund?

Well, I was, I brought the class fund of more than RM100 for a joyride XD

wakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

That's why Husna kept saying that Syakirah paid more than RM100 just to watch a snake :D

Oh, ya, back to the snake...

One of the school workers then came in with a broom...

He put his hand into the desk and after a little while, pulled the snake out of it by holding on to its tail...

He then let the snake's head down so that he was still holding on to its tail but it's head was already on the ground...

As the guy tried to use the broom to kill the snake, it moved towards his leg, as if it was about to chew some flesh off the leg...

The worker moved his leg out of the way quickly and sort of threw the snake down onto the ground and stepping on it near its head...

Ok, the rest of the story of the life of the snake shall be censored, partly because I forgot what happened next :P

But I remember all of us clapping and whooping as the worker held the snake and walked out of the classroom...

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Oh, one more thing!!!

At one point, I went into my class and started singing a little bit of "What I've Been Looking For", which was annoyingly stuck in my head...

After a little while, it started to rain again!!!

I think I might have been the one who brought the rain with my singing HSM songs...

Oops, sorry :P

Now I'm thinking of the short story we have to learn in Form 4, Looking For A Rain God, where they killed two small kids for rain, which never even came in the end...

They should have just called me to sing songs from HSM and they could have spared the two kids' lives!!!

wakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

I think today was the first time I saw people my age folding paper boats and racing them on the flood water, the first time I saw so many teachers pull up their skirts and walk barefooted to get to the other blocks, the first time I got so close to a snake inside someone's desk, and I'm glad that this day happened the way it did, with friends from all over the block, with so much fun, joy, singing, screams, and of course, water XD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Buh-bye, people!!!
