Hey guys!
Quick post here before I go pack my clothes and stuff...
I'll be leaving for KL later this evening and I'll be starting SUSOM on the 2nd of January...
I can't believe 2010 is almost up!
Can't believe also must believe lah, hor? xD
Anyway, in case you don't know, SUSOM stands for Scripture Union Students On Mission...
I'll be joining SUSOM 2011 from 2-29 January, so I won't be home for around one whole month!!!
I think I'll be bringing a laptop along, though, so you just might see traces of me here and there on the net even while I'm at SUSOM :D
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
I'll also be going for a mission exposure trip to Indonesia the last week of SUSOM or something :)
I'm hijacking koko's digital camera for the whole duration of SUSOM so I'll be able to capture parts of this and that for you guys (and myself) to see :D
Oops, better go start packing or I'll never be ready in time...
Please pray for me and the other 5 joining SUSOM!!!
And also for all the people who will have to handle us xD
Thank you guys!!!
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Buh-bye, people!!!
PS: How am I going to find formal clothes?!?!?!?!?

Give Me Oil!
There was this song I used to sing in Sunday School when I was (a lot) younger...
The lyrics are something like:
Give me oil in my lamp,
keep me burning, burning burning,
give me oil in my lamp,
I pray I pray,
Give me oil in my lamp,
keep me burning, burning, burning,
keep me burning 'til the break of day.
It's a nice song. Simple, yes, but nice...
Well, anyway, we went to El Sanctuary for our committee retreat in a van and a car...
On the way back from the committee retreat, the people who sat in the car which were Caleen, Kimberly, jie2 Ee Hsin, Kai Ling jie and myself, had a fun time singing songs (mostly Sunday School songs xD) because the guitar was in the car with us...
Suddenly koko Sern Wang called Kai Ling jie, telling her that the van ran out of petrol...
Ran out, as in not totally kering already, but the indicator was pointing at "E", which stands for Empty...
The van actually went quite a distance with the indicator at that position and we (the people in the car) were really praying very hard that the van would be able to reach a petrol station without any problems...
Then we started to sing to the tune of Give Me Oil in my Lamp, but with different lyrics...
We sang:
Give us oil in the van,
keep us going, going, going,
Give us oil in the van,
I pray, I pray,
Give us oil in the van,
keep us going, going, going,
keep us going to the petrol station!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Then Kai Ling jie called You Shen, who was in the van, put her call on loudspeaker and asked You Shen to do the same...
She then asked us to sing our version of the song for the people in the van (especially koko SernWang) to hear...
When we were at one of the "going, going, going"...............
You Shen hung up =.=
We all went, "Whattt? He hung upppp?!?!?!? Whyyyyyy?!?!?!?"
And we were all singing so enthusiastically!
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Anyway, after that, we tried calling Regine instead and did the same thing...
After finishing our little performance, we were all so happy that she didn't hang up on us...
We were so excited and then Regine asked, "Can I hand up now? We want to sleep"
At that time, I heard, a sound of something breaking inside me - my heart!
Prrraaaannngggggggggggggg!!!
"O...Okay... " I said and we hung up :'(
Thank God the van managed to reach the petrol station without breaking down on the way :)
Our little prayer / song to God worked! haha
Thank you, God! =)
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Buh-bye, people!!!

My legs acheeeee =X
Hey guys!!!
Got back from El Sanctuary this evening...
The YF Committee Retreat was interesting xD
It was fun climbing up all those steps and trying hard not to end up in the piles of dog poo!
hahahahahahahahahahaha...
My legs don't ache because of that, though, although I think it might have added to the pain xD
Let me tell you that playing captain ball without warming up and running and sliding (that was the killer xD) around trying get the ball isn't very smart, exactly if you're not the slim kind or anywhere near there for that matter xD
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
And then we used a hall called the "Long Suffering Hall", named that way because we have to climb a lonngggggg way up to reach it, not to mention trying to elakkan all the land mines (aka dog poo!)... We really do have to suffer to reach the hall xD
Man, I feel old! I can't even sit down on the floor without feeling pain! haha
All in all though, I thought it was a good retreat :)
I reached home at about 4.30 pm just now...
And then I had worship practice at 6.15 for the YF Thanksgiving dinner that was supposed to start at 7.30...
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
I'm a busy woman. A very busy woman xD
I have another million and one things to do tomorrow before leaving for about a month...
I... need... to... catch my breath!
Heeeeee... hooooooo... Done! :D
mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Makan Trip! Part 3 - Cameron Highlands
Continued from here, this is the third and final post for the makan trip :D
Cameron Highlands was our last stop before we went home :)
While daddy and all the other uncles (except one) went to play golf, the rest of us went for more food! Nothing fancy, though, just normal food. Wasn't that great lah. Actually, quite teruk lah xD After eating, we went to a flower part or something, I'm not sure xD
That night, we all had dinner at...
We had steamboat that night! And then we ate at the same place the next day before leaving Cameron Highlands :)
And the makan trip came to an end :(
I overheard someone saying in the bus that she won't weigh herself until much, much later later... Very wise! xD
