Back from Korea and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Hey guys!!!

Please brace yourselves for a loooong post with lots of photos! :)

So some relatives and I went to Korea for a few days. HOLIDAYYY!!! 12 of us went altogether, but we eat and talk like we're 100 people xD

Anywayyyy, we took a near-midnight flight on the 18th, and reached Korea very early in the morning on the 19th. From the airport, the 12 of us were split into 2 taxis (a "jumbo taxi" and a normal one, the jumbo one being a Starex) that brought us to our hotel.

View from the taxi

It felt weird that the cars in Korea are all on the "wrong" side of the road! People in Korea drive on the right side of the road, which is the "wrong" side of the road, since people here in Malaysia drive on the left side of the road, which I refer to as the "right" side of the road. Yes? No? What? Whatever lah, you know what I mean xP

So anyway, we reached the hotel, checked in, and we all went to explore the place. And look for food, as always :D

Right outside the hotel doors

Somewhere near our hotel

Overlooking a really nice river? Longkang? I don't know xS

We were all so hungry (we had only had a little bit of pre-ordered food on our Air Asia X flight), and so we all just went around searching and searching for food. Finally we ended up in the building that had a food court on its fifth floor. So there we went for breakfast/lunch/brunch/whatever it was :)

So, there, we had our first meal in Korea. Since we couldn't speak Korean, and the people there couldn't speak English, we did a lot of pointing at pictures and ordering stuff we didn't know what they were xD Some things came out quite nice, but for me, all I concluded from that meal is that I am definitely not a Kimchi person o.O

A beef dish with kimchi as one of its side dishes

A fish dish with at least 2 kimchi-based side dishes

A fried I-don't-know-what dish with plenty of kimchi all over

Kimchi, anyone?

Ughh definitely not for me! The first few bites of overpowering kimchi taste was actually fine with me. But after that, yucks. A person can only take that much kimchi in one meal! But then again, maybe that's just me. And my family. And my extended family xD If you like kimchi, though, you would have enjoyed that meal a lot!

After that meal, we continued walking around, checking the place out. We saw on a map somewhere that there was this palace or something, within walking distance from where we were, which is apparently a tourist attraction. So, we headed there. And then, to my amazement, we saw......

Tadaa!!! A nice, big... picture?!?!?!

Anti-climactic! The palace (or whatever it is supposed to be) was closed for renovation =.=

Anyway, we walked around some more and ended up getting more stuff to satisfy our taste buds and stomachs ;)

A cold latte in winter. Nice! :D

Ah Teow and Daddy with cold lattes, sitting out in winter =D

And we also found some street food.

Something that tastes like tau kee

Ooh! This one's interesting!
It's a hotdog in flour and breadcrumbs or french fries, and it's deep fried.
Then it's coated in sugar. Then ketchup is poured all over it. Then it's eaten.

That night, we went for a Korean barbeque buffet for dinner :D

Some of the many things we had ;)

The barbeque buffet was pretty awesome, but the thing is, we all stinked to high heavens when we came out of that place :S

The next day, we learned to use their subway! Struggled through it, more like it xD Everything was in the Korean language, and we couldn't understand a thing!

Uncle Woon and Ah Yee Teng2 trying to figure out how to use the machine to buy the cards

And while all of us were there, so lost, trying to figure out how to do whatever we were supposed to do, a lady came to ask me for directions! Well, at least that's what I think she was trying to ask me, since I couldn't understand a word she was saying. She was speaking to me pretty rapidly in Korean, and I kept going "uhh.. ahhh... erm... S...sorry", but the lady just kept going on and on and pointing here and there. Finally, when she stopped talking, I said, "Sorry" while shaking my head, shrugging my shoulders slightly, and giving here a completely lost expression. I think she finally got that I wasn't local because she gave me an irritated sigh and went off!

When I was telling mummy and the rest about it, I asked them, "Does my face not say that I am lost?" hahahaha, apparently I looked very local. I can fit in!!! :D

Anyway, we finally got our cards for the subway and then we were on our way!

In one of the stations somewhere. l-r: Me, Joyce, Jayne

My 3 kuchi brats cousins :) l-r: Faith, Joyce, Jayne

There were some stations that had names that sounded a lot like Malay names. For example:

Gemuk? We refused to get down at this station that says we're fat! xD

Masuk? They say masuk, so we masuk the train loh!

Come to think of it, maybe we were just a little to homesick for Malaysia xD

That day, we went to Nami Island, where the Korean drama "Winter Sonata" was filmed. I've never watched that drama, but people said that the island was supposed to be really pretty! :D

We had to take a ferry to the island itself, so we took a cab from the subway station to the jetty, where, upon reaching, I saw...

...this!

Okay, okay, I know you're thinking, What? What's that? What so cool about that?

Well the thing about it is, what I saw when I arrived there wasn't JUST that yellow and green kotak-kotak thingy there. What I saw was someone JUMPING OFF that yellow and green kotak-kotak thingy there!

No no no, before you get any ideas about me having suicidal thoughts, I saw someone BUNGEE JUMPING! :D :D :DDD

I've always wanted to bungee jump. Always! Mummy too! So mummy, myself and my cousin Joyce went to buy tickets! =D However, my Ah Yee Lee Hua was talking about retina detachment or something like that, or something scary that could go bad at bungee jumps. In the end, Ah Yee Lee Hua got the guy to return mummy's money so mummy didn't get to bungee jump :( Only Joyce and I.

Myself and Joyce up there somewhere in the yellow and green kotak-kotak thingy
(can it be considered a building?), where we got geared up :)

For those of you who have never tried bungee jumping, YOU SHOULD!!! It's really really fun! We were supposed to count down from 5, and then jump, and so I did. I was like, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, eh? Where's the ground? WWWHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It was like nothing I've ever done before! Even at the Space Shot ride in Genting Highlands, you know there's a seat under you, but this, this was nothing! The only thing under you was... well, nothing!Oh, except for water a long, long way down xD It. Was. Awesome! Hahaha and when it was almost over, I yelled jokingly to the whole gin gang at the side there, watching me, "This thing can support my weight ar! Not bad!" hahahaha! My cousin Faith was saying that it was a little too late in the jump to be talking about the thing supporting my weight xD Oh, and hey! I even got a cert for bungee jumping! :D

Proof that I've bungee jumped!!! =)

Lunch that day was nice. Right after Joyce and I bungee jumped, we went to the convenience store to buy our lunch! :D

Microwavable rice and instant ramen!

It was a great lunch :D

A microwavable box-set meal

It was a nice meal to have in Korea :) After lunch, we took the ferry to Nami Island. The ferry had a big Malaysian flag beside the Korean flag, which made me feel so proud! :D

Malaysian flag up there! Oh YEAHHHH!!!

Looking back from the ferry. I bungee jumped off that thing!

We spent quite a lot of time on Nami Island, the oh-so-beautiful island.

l-r: Mum, Dad and I

LOMPATTT!!!!
l-r: Me, Joyce, Jayne

To tell you the truth, I wasn't impressed by Nami Island. In fact, I wasn't impressed at all. Maybe it's because it was winter and all the trees were botak, or maybe I expected something very very very breathtakingly beautiful, but anyway, I wasn't impressed.

There were, however, couples who probably found the romantic side of the island that was supposedly portrayed in "Winter Sonata".

In case you can't see them, the couple is somewhere near the middle of the picture, towards the right side xD

Wait, I just want to clarify that I wasn't stalking couples there! They just happened to appear in my photographs of the scenes and trees in Nami Island! x)

Okay, so even though the trees and the scenery there didn't impress me, the toilets did xD

The toilets had books in them!!! Wahhh!!!

Hahahaha, we went around looking at the place and taking more photos (of things other than toilets) like the celaka tourists that we were though :)

A random statue that wanted to give me a feet high 5

l-r: Mummy, Jayne, me

We caught a ferry back to the jetty and went back to the hotel. Day 2 in Korea spent on bungee jumping and Nami Island :)

Oh, and seeing Malaysia flags :D
Daddy proudly holding the Jalur Gemilang!

We spent our 3rd day in Korea at a snow mountain.

Sadly, some of the snow there didn't occur naturally :( It was still nice and pretty to look at, though :)

I teman-ed Faith who wanted to go sledging while Joyce and Jayne went skiing.

Faith and I with our vests that look like they're from kindergarten xD

We soon realised that the sledging there was meant for little kids and parents who had little kids. Soooo, in the end, we went skiing :D

Newbies at skiing! l-r: Faith, me, mummy

Skiing was fun :) I helped daddy cross that off his Bucket List by going skiing for him xD

Day 4, we just went around Seoul in the Seoul Tour Bus.

Yes, the bus came with headphones and information about the different stops and places :)

I can't remember the names of the places we stopped at, sorry! xD

l-r: Faith, random owl-looking statue, me, mummy, Jayne

Half-botak trees, not-so-botak trees, land, the sun =)

Myself and Faith

It was really really cold that day, and Joyce had an idea to put her hands inside her jacket and not the sleeves. However, with this, there came the problem of how she was supposed to carry her bag? So...
I used the empty jacket sleeves to tie her bag to her back! You're welcome, Joyce! xP

Before heading back to the hotel and then to the airport and then home, we met Colonel Sanders! If you don't know who that is, all I can say is shame on you!!!

He is...
The KFC guy!!! :D This is a cuter version of him, though xD

More of the dressed-up people at the KFC we were at, with mummy and I :)

Oh, and of course, somewhere in the trip, we at least managed to get a complete group shot!!!
Top l-r: Daddy, Mummy, Ah Teow, Ah Yee Lee Hua, Uncle Woon.
Bottom l-r: Me, Gracie, Ah Yee Teng2, Faith, Jayne, Joyce, Ming Ming.

We were welcomed back home to Malaysia by the hot and humid weather here. Yay =.= Sweating wasn't something I missed on the trip xD

Fast foward a few days from there, and rewind a little bit from today, right now...

I want to wish everyone a very merry Christmas!!! I hope everyone experiences the love of God this year :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! =)

I spent Christmas around my family and loads of food, so yeah, it was merry, alright! :)

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Of Reunions :)

Soooo, one thing I haven't mentioned...

1st BP Boy's Brigade Company had a reunion some time back :) It wasn't really a big thing, but I still thought it was nice! I got to see some people I haven't met in ages! And my 2 senior buddies to the day our company ended were there, so that was cool! Sze Yee and Jayn!!! Pure awesomeness! :D

We all spent a lot of time just looking through old pictures, which might sound boring, but was actually quite fun =) It's amazing what old pictures and photographs can do! They can bring you back to the days the pictures were taken, helping you remember nice memories you might have already kept in a tiny little box deep, deep inside your brain's memory box xD

Reunion! :)

1st BP BB is honestly one of the best thing that has ever happened to me! It has blessed me tremendously and I really really really do miss it. A LOT! It helped me grow in more ways than one, and I have learnt soooo much from BB. Sir Alexander Smith - a genius! A genius whom I really respect!

Welllll, other than ex-1stBPBB members, I also met up with most of my '09 TIGS Debating Team teammates. It's always fun meeting up with this group of crazy people xD And the thing is, we always meet up in McD and make sooo much noise that I always half-expect the manager to ban us from the place!

l-r: Me, Anlynn, Sarah, Becky

We, as usual, went on and on, talking about anything and everything, laughing like hyenas, teasing each other, ganging up against each other just for the fun of it, and generally just making everyone stare at us because of the noise we make xS Sometimes I really wonder why I'm friends with these weird, noisy, crazy bunch of people xDDD

Oh! And I also had a reunion with..........

TIGS Tangga!!! The rehat spot for my rehat buddies and I!

Awesome, no? hahahaha, this picture seriously shows my upper-form rehat territory xD

When I was in Form 4, the table and benches on the right side of the photo weren't there yet, and my rehat buddies and I used to sit on the stairs. We'd block the path up and we acted as though we owned the stairs xDDD

Then in Form 5, the table and chairs got shifted there, beside the stairs, with a fan right above it, so that became the new rehat spot! :D

I had a reunion with my rehat spots in TIGS. Don't be jealous (especially my rehat buddies) xDD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

...and That Ends My 2nd Sem!

I'm done with my 2nd semester! I thought my 1st sem passed really fast, but this 2nd sem felt even faster!!! Well, anyway, here are some of the more not-so-ordinary things that happened in my 2nd sem (other than some friends visiting, which was my last post) xS

Well, my old housemate who transferred to AIMST in Kedah, Chia Yee, came back to visit us at our unit! :D
Top l-r: Niki, Hong Ling, me. Bottom l-r: Karen, Felicia, Chia Yee

I went to Secret Recipe with my housemates after an exam that was quite ughhh xD We actually also went there to celebrate Hong Ling's and Niki's birthdays :) Felicia wasn't feeling well, so she left as soon as she reached Secret Recipe :(

l-r: Me, Hong Ling, Niki, Karen

A healthy cheesecake which name I can't remember :S

I also forgot this one's name but IT'S AWESOME!!!

I also went to Mid Valley with my housemates (except Hong Ling, who went home)
Waiting for the KTM.
l-r: Felicia, Karen, Me, Niki

Sitting in an MPH somewhere

We ate at a place called "Delicious", where the food really was delicious :D Money well-spent ;)

My chicken burger! :D

Niki's green thingy xS

We just happened to meet some friends both on the way to Mid Valley and coming back from Mid Valley :)
The weird homeless-looking people sitting at the side of the road xP

Andddddd, one fine day Hong Ling drove Karen and myself to SS20 to try the famous SS20 Fish Head Noodles Hong Ling and Niki told us so much about =D
Karen and me doing a Celaka Tourist with the shop's signboard xD

All of us none-fish-with-bones eaters ordered fish paste ones instead :D

Cendol! :DDD

And the last thing is.......

I MET JAYESSLEEEEEEEEE =D =D =DDDDDDDDD

If you're asking "Who's that???"
First I'm going to answer with a very big GASP!!!
Then I'm gonna whack your head *boink*
Then I'm gonna say, watch/listen to this, it's them!!! :D

And that's one of their many covers posted on YouTube :)

They were in Malaysia and I got to see them!!! :D :D :DDD

Not only that, but I have a photo to prove it!!!!!

I got mummy and daddy to take the photo with me xD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

It's all about the company! :)

Hey guys!!!

So, well, this is kind of long overdue, but I still want to blog about it, because it's not everyday I get BP friends visiting me in Cheras!!! =D

Well, on the 1st of this month, Zhi Qing (or Ah Pao), E-Chuen and Shin Lei came to visit Pey Yann, Ruby and I here in Cheras!!!

It was on a Saturday, so Ruby, Pey Yann and myself had IELTS class from 9am-1pm (which I still think is crazy long!) and Ruby and I had a replacement lecture that evening. Anyway, the three of them came with Jeremy Neo (who gave them a ride here =D) and they reached just in time for lunch :)

Ruby and I didn't have much time before our replacement lecture, so we didn't really get to enjoy our food slowly before having to rush off for our class. Since there was nothing better to do, and since they were a bit curious as to what UCSI is like, the whole gang came for the lecture xD (Trying to pretend they're so hardworking =.=)

Pey Yann was a bit nervous about going for the replacement lecture because hers was supposed to be the week after Ruby's and mine! Anyway, we all still went into the lecture hall together :D Shin Lei even found an ex-classmate in Taylor's who's now sort of my classmate! haha!

l-r: Shin Lei, Zhi Qing, E-Chuen, Pey Yann

The four of them walked out around three minutes into the lecture xD So much for being hardworking! haha

After our lecture, Ruby and I joined the rest of them (plus Dickson and Jeremy) at Georgetown-Something-Something (One of those cafes that looks like it got its idea from Old Town)

l-r: Jeremy, Dickson, Zhi Qing, E-Chuen, Pey Yann, Shin Lei

We just sat there and chit-chatted until we thought we had overstayed our welcome, and then we (without the 2 guys) went to Giant to buy some supplies for our Spaghetti dinner and our breakfast the following morning! :)

Surprise!!! Wait, I mean, supplies!!! =P

Yeah, we bought some sparkling wine too, just for good measure ;D And no, everyone, it isn't alchoholic! At all. It's just carbonated juice =.=

We went back to my unit and started to work on our dinner :) We used Ruby's unit's coil heater, and pots from either Ruby's or Pey Yann's unit, and plates and forks and spoons from their units as well. (Oops now it's clear to everyone that nobody in my unit cooks xD)

All 6 of us put in a lot of sweat (literally xP) into preparing our dinner, and I guess it turned out quite okay (After all our efforrt, even if not nice also must say nice ;P) Our dinner was shared with Dickson, Jeremy and 2 of Pey Yann's housemates as well =) Sharing is caring!

We had a spaghetti dinner together! :)

Pey Yann's housemates were so cute xD They felt a bit our of place in my unit with all the BP people all over, so they took their bowls of spaghetti and went back up to their unit. They really just held a bowl (not even a container) of spaghetti each in their hands and took the lift back to their floor! hahaha so cute! I kept imagining if someone happens to take the same lift as them! If I did, I'd probably snatch the food from them and finish it up right there and then! LOL!

That night, after dinner and after clearing up, we Skyped Charmaine :) We were all so exhausted and yet we all went on and on and on, Skyping her! It was fun, though xD I think by then we were all not right in the head! I wonder what my neighbours were thinking about us making so much noise when we were supposed to be sleeping!

Well anyway, thanks to the wonders of the Internet, we managed to get a group photo with Charmaine! Or at least her face on the screen with the rest of us xS

PEACE! =D

The next morning, between the 6 of us, we managed to finish 2 big loaves of Gardenia bread, one can of tuna, one can of sardine, about three quarter tub of ice-cream, as well as some other lebih-lebih stuff like cucumbers and peanut butter xD

Before Ruby and I had to leave for church (we both went to GEPC :D), we sempat take another group shot:

The 6 of us after our really really heavy breakfast! Note that Shin Lei is still in her pajamas xP

I had a great time with these people around! It felt really good to have old friends gather together. It was nice! :) It's like we're all in a different phase of life now, no longer in secondary school, and still we can all just get together and just enjoy each other's company (while trying to get the spaghetti to turn out ok xD) That weekend gave me a dose of BP-ness, a dose of home, a dose of 2-big-loaves-of-bread-in-one-morning x) It. Was. Awesome. =D

A non-alchoholic toast to friendship! =)

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Stuck in the Lift!!!

Hey guys!!!

Something happened to my housemates and I this morning that I thought only happened in movies! Looking at the title of this post, it wouldn’t take a genius to figure out what it was that happened xD We were stuck in a lift, just the 5 of us, between the 27th and the 28thfloors!!!

We had a 9.30 a.m. Computing Essentials lecture, and we left our condo unit quite early this morning - at 9 a.m.. Usually it’s quite impossible to get a lift that has enough space for the 5 of us, going down, at around that time. So my housemates pressed both the up and the down buttons.

Awesome timing would have it that two lift doors side by side opened at the same time only a few seconds after the buttons were pressed. The left one was going down and the right one was going up. The left one was quite full, so after hesitating for around a second, we went into the lift on the right side, the one going up. We figured we’d go up to go down in the lift xD

We had the whole lift to ourselves, just the 5 of us! I was thinking how unusually cool it is that we could actually enter an empty lift, and go up straight to the highest floor without stopping first at any floors in between, before going down again!

The lift in our condominium here is such that if it’s going up to stop at the 28th floor, the indicator will indicate the 27th floor for quite some time, before indicating the 28th floor when it is really already on the 28th floor. That’s what happened just now in the lift.

The 27th floor was indicated, but we could feel and knew that the lift was going up to the 28th floor (the highest floor). Suddenly there was this “BANGGG!!!”, like something hitting the top/side/wherever of the lift or something. Then the lift stopped, like it was just suspended there.

The 5 of us kind of just stared at each other without saying anything for a moment, then we all just sort of started talking at once. “What happened?”, “Why like that one?”, “Please lah, don’t like that leh!”, “NNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”, “Really stuck ar?!?!?!?”, “AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!”

The indicator showed 27. Then suddenly…

Out of Service?!?!?!?

THE LIFT WENT OUT OF SERVICE WITH US IN IT!!!
We immediately pressed the help button (or whatever it’s called – the one that looks like a bell and the one that looks like a phone =.=), but nothing seemed to be happening! We pressed and pressed and pressed and still nothing happened! A thought came to my head, but I didn’t want to say it out, in case I created more panic xD I was thinking that there was probably only a few metal thingies holding the lift with the 5 of us up. If anything were to happen to the things holding the lift up…….

Well, anyway, I now think it was very very wise of me not to say that out loud just now, in the lift! Haha, it wouldn’t have brought any good at all! It would probably have made everyone else even more panicky xD

I was uttering little prayers to God, and I can say that I actually didn’t panic at all! I felt completely calm, certain nothing bad, well, nothing really bad would happen to me! God was with me, and I knew it :) In fact, I actually thought the whole thing was kind of fun! An adventure or a sort, an experience to be remembered, something not everyone can say they have experienced =D

I even took out my camera to take pictures! In ten years time, I’ll look at the pictures and smile to myself, while everyone around me think I’ve gone crazy, smiling at myself xD That may just be the point I get sent into a mental hospital! Hahahaha!!!

Oops, ter-cut Felicia out :S Sorry Felicia!

Perhaps it was laughing the panic away, or perhaps everyone rationalised that laughing is better than crying, but the 5 of us were laughing! Look at us in the picture! Yes, we look like we had just woken up (which is true), but we don’t exactly look sad, do we? Come to think of it, it was a good way to kick-start our day! I sure did feel a lot more awake after being stuck in the lift! xD

Thank God Hong Ling’s phone had signal (Woots! Maxis!!! =D), and she called the number pasted in the lift, for use of emergencies. We also called another friend who we knew didn’t have any lectures on this morning, to ask her to look for help for us xD THANK YOU XUE NI!!!!! You’re awesome!!! :)

Talking to Xue Ni on the phone was kind of funny! Imagine being called early in the morning, being told that some of your friends are stuck in a lift, asking you to go look for help for them! Wouldn’t you think that you’re being tricked or something? Haha, anyway, Xue Ni believed we really were stuck in the lift, and she sounded very “cemas” for us! Awwww, thanks again, Xue Ni!!!!! =)

Trying to explain our situation to Xue Ni x)

By that time, we had already been stuck in the lift for some time, and Niki was already sitting on the floor xD

Her facial expression so cute xD

After being stuck in the lift for nearly half an hour (seriously, it was that long! But it didn’t really feel that long :D), Spiderman, Superman, Batman and Cicakman came to save us! =D

Spiderman, with his webs helped to make sure the lift wouldn’t drop 27½ floors down by spider-webbing the bottom of the lift to the side of the lift-space-wall (lift-space-wall?!?!?!? =.=).

Superman, with his super-strength pushed the lift doors apart so that we could get out of the lift.

Batman held the lift up from the top, helping Spiderman make sure the lift wouldn’t drop all the way down.

And as for Cicakman, he was just there to entertain us, and remind us that we have a local superhero xD

Okay, okay, maybe all these superheroes weren’t REALLY there to help us out, but a girl can make her being rescued from a lift sound a little more dramatic, can’t she? Wait, she can’t? Cheh, no fun lah :P

What really happened was that someone (a representative of Superman, perhaps xD) did come and push the lift doors apart. We then climbed out of the lift, one by one, up to the 28th floor. Yes, we had to climb up, since the 28th floor was around our waist level xD

When all 5 of us were out, we were then treated like VIPs, being ushered into another lift that was held purposely for us! The lift was just there, waiting for us! The 5 of us were ushered into the lift, a guy, and another guy came with us (maybe the representative of Cicakman? There to make sure everything goes on okay and to make us feel more at ease? xD). The lift went straight down to P5 (the floor we were headed to, sort of like the Ground floor).

The lift door opened and we saw yet another guy there to usher us out, like a welcoming committee!!! :D We felt like VIPs, oh-so-important! =D

The anti-climactic end to the story is that the 5 of us said our thanks, and rushed off for our Computing Essentials lecture, already late for the lecture! xD

Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

Buh-bye, people!!!
P/S: Thank You, Lord, for getting us out of there safely :)

My First Sem Break.... Overrrr!!! ='(

Hey guys!!!

I WANT MORE HOLIDAYSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED MORE HOLIDAYSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! I DEMAND I GET MORE HOLIDAYSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Not like I will get any more holidays :(

Well anyway.... I had quite a nice holiday =) Then again, when are holidays ever not nice? xD Other than watching TV all day, I did some other not-so-anti-social activities!

I went to Port Dickson with Niko, Thai Kue and Sarm Kue (two of my aunties from my dad's side). We stayed a night in Thistle hotel, which I think is an awesome hotel!!!

Lompatttt!!! You can see a bit of the hotel pool behind Niko and myself in the picture x)

I also celebrated Mama's birthday in Muar :) She is seriously the cutest grandmother the world has ever known! =) The celebration dinner was kind of cool because I got to see all my relatives together :)

The cousins!!! Minus a few xD

I just realised that Mama isn't even in the picture I posted! :S

Now, that's better =)

The family with Mama =)

I also got to meet up with some friends =)

A bunch of ex-schoolmates at Dagan

We were really noisy, but who cares? We were busy catching up with each other to remember to keep our voices down xD

Oooh ooh oohhhhh!!!! And I got to meet up with my SUSOM friends as well!!! Jasmine and Jia Wen didn't join us, but at least I got to meet up with 3 out of the 5 of my fellow SUSOMites from this year. Jennifer joined us too =D Jun Yi was supposed to, but tak jadi :( That monkey! haha

Top l-r: Samuel, Derrick; Bottom l-r: Samantha, me

Jennifer left early, so we didn't take a picture with her :( She actually bought 9 supposedly "crunchy and delicious" green apples and tumpang-ed my bag, and then she left without the apples! So I untung 9 apples loh!!! hahaha, thank you jie2 Jen loh!!! I'm supposed to think of her every time I eat an apple xD

Well, so now it's back to the old grindstone! Ughhh, I have a lecture at 8 am tomorrow! EIGHT IN THE MORNING!!! Nobody should be up so early in the morning! That's crazy and unhealthy and siao and simply not for any decent human being!

mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Buh-bye, people!!!

Holidayssss!!! :)

Hey guys!!!

I've finished one semester in UCSI!!! So fast right? hahaha, anyway, I finished my last final exam paper (for the 1st sem) on the 11th of August and so my holidays started then! =)

It has been one semester! One whole semester!!! Granted, yes, I started later than the actual May intake, but still, it all seems like such a short time ago!!! Anyway, of course, who cares about anything when they can care about holidays? hahaha, nobody!!!

So this holiday, as usual, I've been spending most of my time watching TV =D But but but... At least I've been out a few times instead of JUST watching TV in my room! Trust me, it's an improvement! xD

Well, the first meet-up I had when I got back to BP was with a bunch of ex-schoolmates :) It was mostly a farewell for Jing, who is leaving for Poland this Sunday!
l-r: Anna, Ajie, me, Evonne, Liting, Jing, Joanne

We went to Juz Waffle, and I went upstairs for the first time!!! hahaha jakun xD (Upstairs and downstairs look the same only oneeeee :S)

It was fun seeing them again, especially Ajie! I think hadn't seen her since Form 2 or so before that!!! She's still as crazy as ever, though xD She and Joanne were kicking each other, shaking the tables and embarassing all of us in the process xP Oh, and AJIE BIT ME!!! Yes, bit as in past tense of bite!!! A few times!!! Ughhhhhhh, I'm feeling all geli just thinking about it =S hahaha

It was fun seeing her again, though, despite the biting xD

After that, Evonne, Joanne and myself met up with Joshua and jie2 Ee Hsin and we went to BP Mall (and ended up in Char Chan Teng). You know how some people like to put their handphones on the table when they go out to makan? Well, I've never been one of those people. But, that night, my handphone was too cool for me to keep in my pocket! It demanded attention. It demanded that it be left on the table for everyone to admire. It wanted to be seen, to be the centre of attention, to be hao-lian-ed!!!

So put it on top of the table I did, with the other handphones there. Guess which one was the one I brought? I'll give you a hint, it's the ABC-est (awesomest, bestest, coolest) one there:
Well? Which one do you think is the one I brought?

Well, since I said awesomest, bestest and coolest, I'm sure you managed to guess correctly! It's the third one!!! Yay!!!!! The blue/orange/green/pink one!!!! Awesome right??? Now now, don't get too jealous of me just because my handphone is so much more awesome than yours okay? =P

Hahahahahahahahaha!!! I actually found it in jie2 Ee Hsin's car on the way to BP Mall, and thought that I just couldn't live without it! It's actually jie2 Ee Hsin's niece, LeLe's xD I hijacked it for the night just to show-off ;) You know, I'm actually thinking of buying myself one of those colourful toy handphones too, just to bring around for fun xD

Had another kind-of-farewell for Jing in BP Mall :)
l-r: Joshua, me, Jing, Jayn, Joanna

Camera-shy Evonne took the photo for us since she mati-mati also didn't want to take photo with us. She was still recovering from the picture we took earlier in Juz Waffle xD haha

Come to think of it, I shouldn't have been in the picture as well! I just realised that I took a picture with all the J-people!!! Right now I feel like such the odd one out!!! JJJJJoshua lah, JJJJJing lah, JJJJJayn lah, JJJJJoanna lah, all J's! I think just for that, I shall be referred to as Jamanda in this picture!!! Hahahaha!!! xD

Ooh! Also managed to see Ying at another meet-up, but sadly, I forgot to take a group picture :( The closest photo I have to a photo of Ying from that day is her handphone =.= Sad, but true.
Oh! You can see a bit of her hand there too! haha

The point of the photo was actually the 8th and 9th high-score placing of 0 marks! hahaha, the names typed there are Jing and Joshua! Tsk tsk tsk, malu only, get 0 marks!!! 0 marks also dare to type their names in?!?!?!? Tsk tsk tsk! (Shhhh... Don't tell anyone I told you, but I was the one who got the 0 marks, and typed their names in ;P)

Well, I guess I won't be seeing Jing again before she leaves for Poland, so Jing, if you see this...

ALL THE BEST IN KILAT-LAND!!!!! Semoga you get Polished until you kilat-kilat, like your awesome tiara!!! Oh ya, that reminds me, remember to bring your tiara there ya, Princess Jing? ;P Just wear it there if you're afraid it might take up too much luggage space! Go spread the princess-ness!!! Lol!!!
So cute right? I mean the tiara xP

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Buh-bye, people!!!
