Youth Sunday this Sunday!!!

Hey guys!!!

YF GGBP's Youth Sunday will be this Sunday!!!

Derrick will be the speaker, Joanna the worship leader, Jonathan the chairman...

Me? I'll be the pianist and I was sort of put in charge of the song presentations too :)

After the service, the YFers involved will go out for lunch!!!

And since it'll be a buffet lunch, I'm going to eat until I can no longer walk and have to roll out of the restaurant xD

Hopefully Youth Sunday will go on smoothly, and we will be able to glorify God's name...

Click here for more details on our Youth Sunday!!! :)

JAYN, EVONNE, JOANNE, JOSHUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys have been awesome CG mates!!!

Hope you guys continue to love and serve God in whatever you guys do and hope to see you guys again soon!!!

Let me know if or when you guys are back in BP!!!

Hope everything goes well for you guys!!!

Will keep you guys in prayer!!!

Oh, and Huei Xing, all the best for your competition!!!

You really do have a good voice and sing well, I mean it!!!

It's a pleasure to hear you sing!!!

Hope you do well and will be praying for you!!! :)

I think now is a good time for me to get started on my tonnes of homework...

Or at least pretend to get started on them while waiting for my studying mood to come ;)

Oh, and I almost forgot!!!

I WENT UP THE NEW SCHOOL BLOCK TODAY!!!!!!!

Up to the top!!!

It was after the first period, while the Muslim students and teachers were still in the hall and the rest of us were just having nothing to do...

Anyway, after sitting in class for some time, Shin Lei, Wen Qi and I decided to go and explore the new block...

There isn't anything there anymore to say that students are not allowed to go there, so we climbed the stairs up the new block for the first time...

We climbed the stairs right to the top and walked along the corridor to the other side to take the stairs the other side down...

The moment we turned the corner towards the stairs, I saw a whole cloud of white - the tudungs and baju kurungs of the Muslim students...

You know, it wasn't until then that I realised that I have pretty quick reflexes as before the other two with me could say anything, I sort of went, "Whoaaa, cannot! TURN BACK!!!" and turned towards the corridor again, hidden by the walls of the new classrooms there...

And then we hurried, or more accurately, flew down the same flights of stairs we climbed up earlier on to the safety of ground floor!!!

We were all laughing like hyenas and high-ten-ing each other as we rushed away from that new building :D

It's not like we broke the rules or anything right? I mean, there isn't anything that says we aren't allowed up there right? But maybe because our Chinese animal thingy is a chicken, we all really are chickens?

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Buh-bye, people!!!

The Stars and the Moon and Life =.=

Finished with all the Star Mag Inc 2010 thingy :)

A lot of hard work went into the magazine and the video...

I would post the video here, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to...

Of course, if I have time, I will make a video of all the shots that we screwed up and post it here so that the whole world can laugh at us xD

mwahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Oh, and just asking, does anyone know who invented the graphs we have to learn in chapter 5 of Form 5 Add. Maths?

I'd love to kill the person who invented it if he/she/IT hasn't died yet!

That person/it(?) is making my life very miserable!

I think drawing those graphs did something to my brain, because I think I cracked when I had to do it...

I was literally shouting in class and stamping my feet in frustration while sketching those annoying graphs...

And then after lessons, before we had to go for our co-curricular activities, I was trying really hard to finish sketching all the graphs that I was supposed to, and a classmate of mine, Shahifah started trying to disturb/annoy me even further...

I was at the very last graph of mine, and since we have to sketch our graphs quite big, the chances of getting a graph that doesn't look like a graph is quite high xD

wakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

Anyway, I was holding my breath while sketching the last graph, afraid that I might do something wrong somewhere and wind up having to sketch the whole thing all over again...

While I was doing that, Shahifah, seeing that I was doing what I was doing, kept calling my name...

"Amanda, Amanda, Amanda, Amanda, Amanda............"

I continued to hold me breath, concentrating on the graph.

"Amanda! Is Miss Ong coming to our class during BM period tomorrow?" Shahifah asked in BM...

Still, I ignored her. I didn't want to ruin my graph now, did I?

"Amanda! Eh, Amanda!"

Ignore... Ignore... I didn't even wipe my sweat!

"Eh, Amanda looks like she's angry! Amanda!"

Ignore... Ignore... Ig-"WEI SHAHIFAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! KACAU BETUL LAH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And you know what she does? She laughs! Honestly, that girl is going to pay for that!

I told her that I hope she gets disturbed when she's sketching her graphs at home xD

I said that I hope her sisters, brothers, parents, neighbours, everybody wants to disturb her when she's doing her homework!

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Balas dendam ;D

And then Shahifah says, "I don't have any older brothers"

And so I did the only thing I could do, "AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH, JAGA KAUUUUU!!!!!!" and then I started rubbing off the graph that tak jadi :(

wakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakakaka...

I'm kind of convinced that Shahifah won't dare to do her homework today :P

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Me likey :)

Thanks to the awesome friends and family I have, I had a great 17th birthday :)

All of you who remembered my birthday (you know who you are), thanks again!

I love you all!!!

I really really really am glad to know each and every single one of you!!!

You guys really are awesome!!!

And those of you who forgot...

It's... it's... it's okay *sniff* *sniff*...

I'm sure you remembered my birthday, just for got to wish me right? Right? Right?

And those of you who forgot totally, i...i...you...it's...never mind, I...i...I still l..love you *sniff* *sniff* *sniff*

hahahahahahahahahaha xD

Anyway, this year, I had not one, but two surprise birthday celebrations...

One was done by some schoolmates, and another by my CG (care group from YF)...

top(l-r): Zhi Qing (Ah Pao), Ruby, Jing Xin, E-Chuen, Pey Yann, Joanna, me
bottom(l-r): Anlynn, Charmaine, Wan Yi, Zhi Wei, Vivian, Susin

I met up with these people thinking that we were going to celebrate Wan Yi's and Susin's birthdays, which happen to be on the 10th and 2nd of June respectively...

We met up and had breakfast in McD, and then we celebrated Wan Yi's birthday there...

After that she left because she had to meet up with her family or something...

Then after that we went to watch The Karate Kid, which I thought was pretty cute :)

Jessie joined us during the movie...

After the movie, I while I was watching the credits (I always watch at least a part of the credits in case there are some extra-extra stuff), suddenly I heard voices singing "Happy Birthday to you"...

Voices as in familiar voices...

And then came the cake, and the people singing and holding the cake (and cameras) were walking to me...

With cameras, with a cake...

A cake! In the cinema!!!

I went into a total state of WWWHHHAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??????

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

I seriously seriously seriously wasn't expecting that. At all.

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

After that only we went to celebrate Susin's birthday at Tea Station...

I actually want to post our group photo there, but the waitress took a very blur picture. Two very blur group photos, actually =.=

Anyway, thanks, guys, for the complete and utter WHATTTT?!?!??? moment :)

And then there is the surprise my CG did...

top(l-r): Ah War, Li Yuan, Joanna, Caleen, Edrik. Bottom(l-r): me, Jie2 Ee Hsin, Joanne, Evonne, Jayn, Regine

The "point there!" post xD

These people got my maid to trick me!!!

It was on Thursday night, the eve of my birthday, and I had tuition...

After tuition, when I reached home, kakak told me that I left the air-cond in my study room on...

I went, "How can that be? I didn't even go there today! Cannot be lah!"

At that time I sort of thought something is fishy, but nothing really came out of that fishiness xD

And then kakak said that she didn't turn the air-cond off in case I left it on on purpose...

So, being ever the "SAVE THE EARTH! SAVE ELECTRICITY!!!" person that I am, I rushed to the room and opened the door and SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was my whole care group, being squeezed into that tiny room with the light off (I don't know about the fan, but I sincerely hope that it was on, for their sake xD), singing the birthday song to me...

Let me tell you this, my whole family, including kakak, who is now more or less considered family, have great acting skills...

They all can go be professional actors and actresses!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Anyway, I took pity on the sardines that were supposedly my care group mates, and so they un-sardine-ed themselves and came out of the room =D

We also celebrated Edrik's birthday (belated birthday) with the same cute Doraemon cake xD

We yum-seng-ed with cake and then it was really like a CG reunion for us...

Most from our CG was there, and Joshua, who though wasn't here, was on the phone with us anyway :D

Anyway, thanks, guys, for being the awesomest CG, you guys are family :)

And then, of course, my family celebrated my birthday with me as well...

It was really great as dad, mum, niko and I left for Malacca at around 6 pm on my birthday, and koko met us in Malacca...

So I got to celebrate my birthday with the whole family in Malacca in Old Town, where I did my last post =]

Koko purposely took a bus down to Malacca that night so that he could celebrate my birthday with me, and not celebrate my "boxing birthday" the next day...

Awww, ain't that sweet? hahahahaha

Thanks kor!!!

Oh and kor, thanks for the present, you know, the... that one lah! Aiya, the... that one... you know lah, hor? (Sorry if you don't understand, inside joke)

Anyway, thanks, daddy, mummy, niko, koko, for being the best family in the whole wide world...

Nothing I can write in this blog of mine will ever be able to show how awesome you all are and how much I love you guys...

You guys are the ones who have known and loved me since the day I was born, (slightly more than) 17 years ago...

You guys have been with me through all of my joy, my pain, my sorrow, my temper tantrums, my tears, my crazy unstoppable laughs, and every single part of my life...

I know you all love me very much, and I know you guys know that I love you all very very very much too...

Thanks for always being there for me, and for always having my back. I know I can always count on you guys :)

Thank youuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, enough of my birthday (which was pretty cool)!!!

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Here's a video that I watched some time back and suddenly thought of again:

Laughter is contagious. Agreed?

You Tube is awesome...

I know I keep saying "awesome", but that's only because it's an awesome word to use xD

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Pomplamoose. If you have never heard of them, it's time to go check them out!

Here's the first video of theirs that I watched. Niko showed it to me and I've been addicted ever since :) Thanks niko! haha

She has great vocals and can really sing so many different parts while he can play so many instruments well! All their videos are really cute too! Weird, but nice and cute =) They are cute people always doing very cute and creative things :D

It's actually because of their cover that I no longer change to other radio stations every time I hear this song on the radio, like I initially did...

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Then then niko introduced me (as in on You Tube lah) to this pair of twins from Australia...

They are actually Korean-Australians and they too are very cute people, always sounding so bubbly :)

Here's one of their videos and I'm warning you, it's very very very stuckable!!!

Hear one time already enough for the song to get stuck!!!

If the song is now stuck or get stuck later, you're welcome :P

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Buh-bye, people!!!

Before It's Over

A few minutes left of my 17th birthday, and I'm in an Old Town in Malacca with the rest of my family. Anyway, just wanted to thank everyone who remembered my birthday and for everything! My food is evaporating real fast, so that's all for now. Thanks again to all who remembered!

Sixteen Going On Seventeen :)

Hey guys!!!

Have been busy with exams and koko Lawrence's wedding (congrats koko Lawrence and chea2 Shini!) followed by the ASEAN scholarship test, followed by my YF camp...

Anyway, since I only have quite little time to be telling the world that I'm sixteen going on seventeen, I'll make it a point to keep singing it until I no longer can sing that without it being a lie xD

In case you're one of the kesian people who have never watched The Sound of Music, here's a video of the song from the movie :)

I like the song, but maybe we can just ignore the whole exchanging saliva part at the end of the video ya?

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

Oh, and lyrics!

Rolf and Liesl - Sixteen Going on Seventeen Lyrics

[Rolf:]
You wait, little girl, on an empty stage
For fate to turn the light on
Your life, little girl, is an empty page
That men will want to write on

[Liesl:]
To write on

[Rolf:]
You are sixteen going on seventeen
Baby, it's time to think
Better beware, be canny and careful
Baby, you're on the brink

You are sixteen going on seventeen
Fellows will fall in line
Eager young lads and rogues and cads
Will offer you food and wine

Totally unprepared are you
To face a world of men
Timid and shy and scared are you
Of things beyond your ken

You need someone older an wiser
Telling you what to do
I am seventeen going on eighteen
I'll take care of you

[Liesl:]
I am sixteen going on seventeen
I know that I'm naive
Fellows I meet may tell me I'm sweet
And willingly I believe

I am sixteen going on seventeen
Innocent as a rose
Bachelor dandies, drinkers of brandies
What do I know of those

Totally unprepared am I
To face a world of men
Timid and shy and scared am I
Of things beyond my ken

I need someone older and wiser
Telling me what to do
You are seventeen going on eighteen
I'll depend on you

It's nice song, yes? Yes!

I AM SIXTEEN GOING ON SEVENTEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNN =D

mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

We headed back to KL and then the BP the next day...

But of course, we had a meal with the Thams and Uncle Hoe Peng's family first...

Most of "the kids": Derrick, Cass, Melissa, koko, me

Melissa :)

And then we went to see popo Alice and the rest of the gang before leaving...

Melissa and Cass came with us in our car...
Melissa, me and Cass

Cass and I

Mum, Melissa and Dad

When we reached the church, though, the other two little kids (Ivan and Stephanie) made daddy's car the "Children's car"...

And that's how we got.........:
Koko half dead with Stephanie lying down on him and Melissa on her, plus me, Ivan and Cassandra :D

Another shot of us 6 in the backseat of the car

Kids love funny faces xD

The others who were not crammed in the backseat of daddy's car :)

And with that, we left for home with Cass promising to help us bring popo Alice to Nando's on the next day for her birthday...

We nearly kidnapped Cass and Melissa home, but we didn't :(

But don't worry, once Niko comes home, I'm sure he'll want to go see the Penangites too, so that time, I can stuff Cass in my bag and bring her home xD

Oh, that reminds me...

NIKO IS COMING HOMEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When?

Real soon!!!!!!

And I'm thinking about ponteng-ing school AND tuitions to welcome him home!!!!! :D

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
